20 Years of ITS Knowledge—We're On It

Action Man

Bryan Jarrett has held many titles over the last two decades. He started working for Wavetronix in 2001 when the company was just a small technology startup in Utah. Since then, he has worked his way from senior engineer to his current role as president of Island Radar, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wavetronix. While his job titles and day-to-day responsibilities have changed over the years, some things remain constant: Bryan is a champion of the customer and he deeply cares about our products working well; he is very skilled at tying technology to customer needs. When he is not at work, you can find him enjoying all the outdoor opportunities Utah has to offer. Some of his hobbies include skiing, canyoneering, caving, rappelling, and watching BYU football.

Family Man

With over two decades of experience, Brad Giles is a trusted member of the Wavetronix family. He joined us in 2001 with a background in computer engineering and has worked on the radar sensors since then, programming algorithms on the sensors themselves. In his current role as Traffic Applications Lead, he's always researching new ways to use radar data, with goals in mind to best support traffic engineers in their workflows. At home, you'll find him supporting his family members in sports and other extracurricular activities.

Manic Manager

Whether it is at work or at home Ross is always ready for a new adventure. Ross graduated with his electronics engineering technology degree from Brigham Young University. He began his career at Wavetronix 20 years ago as a hardware engineer, designing hardware and writing the code that ran on it. Ross currently manages engineering projects and the work for a new product line to be released in July 2022. Ross likes to manage his hobbies as well and has had a new hobby each year. One year he hiked all 7 peaks in Utah county, another year he went on many motorcycle rides, and the next year he built a cedar table.

Powerhouse Programmer

Meagan is a firmware engineer with 10+ years of experience in embedded application development, driver development, and FPGAs. She began her career at Wavetronix in 2012 after graduating from Brigham Young University. She has been a key developer for the drivers on a new product to be released in July 2022 and has worked on many of the drivers and embedded applications on Expanse. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children. Meagan enjoys reading, a good puzzle, and watching movies.

Mudcat

David Wadley’s career has changed a lot over the years. From starting in broadcast journalism to moving to QA testing and now project management, he’s still developing new skills as part of his job at Wavetronix. David manages the Mudcats—an engineering team that specializes in data analysis. His day consists of overseeing current test sites and helping develop new test sites for things coming down the line. David grew up in Utah Valley and enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors while camping, hiking, and canyoneering. With a wide range of experience, we think David is an important asset to Wavetronix!
