Wavetronix, the worldwide market leader in radar traffic detection and monitoring, is pleased to announce that its founders, David Arnold, chief executive officer, and Mike Jensen, chief technology officer, have been named Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2020 Utah Region Award winners by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US). The award recognizes entrepreneurial leaders who, according to Ernst & Young, “are excelling in overcoming adversity; financial performance; societal impact and commitment to building a values-based company; innovation; and talent management.”
Arnold and Jensen were selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was announced during the program’s first-ever virtual awards gala on 6 October 2020.
Founded in 2000, Wavetronix has grown to be a global company with offices around the world and throughout the United States. Arnold and Jensen met as professors at Brigham Young University and eep the spirit of learning alive at Wavetronix. Ernst & Young noted that the company helps create a better world through the products they develop and manufacture for safer, more efficient transportation systems, but it also fosters an environment of education and personal development for all employees.
